What is
HAVEN?
Haven Classical is a tuition-free public program serving 7th-12th grade homeschool students in the Colorado Springs area.
What we do.
Haven fosters whole-person education by providing rich science, arts, and nature courses in the classical tradition to 7th-12th grade students.
Haven Classical meets twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays for a total of thirty weeks during the school year. Students participate in courses offered by trained classical teachers and are given weekly home assignments to complete on their three home learning days. Each course offered is considered a full middle or high school subject or elective.
Community + Culture
At Haven we believe that education is more than just imparting knowledge and skill. Because we are partnering with families, we seek to come alongside to cultivate a culture of learning and community not only in students but also in families. Students participate in Haven House events including field trips and our yearly ball, and families are invited to join us at our Fine Arts nights; encouraging community connection. Families also have opportunities to join students for lecture series, outings, and gatherings related to each course of study.
